My "what I'd like to have and can afford" trinity (Canon Full Frame) - Not completely alt:

- ZE 21 (done)
- either 35L or ZE 35/2 (still deciding)
- 100L (done, for short-to-medium distances) or a small telezoom (still deciding, for medium-to-long distances)

But I have a dream 4 lens setup ("what I'd like to have but probably can't afford in a near future"):

- ZE 21
- 35L or ZE 35/2
- TS-E 90
- Voigtländer 125/2.5 APO Macro

I'm not very keen on 50mm lenses - I really prefer a slightly wider FoV, like 35mm...

The EF 24/2.8 is a very good lens. Small, light, close-focus, sharp and very good colours. Not exactly a ZE 21, specially wide open, but for about 1/5 of the price of the Zeiss it's an awesome lens. I'm sure there are some good and affordable alt wide lenses, but I'll let others recommend them.

I have both EF 24 and ZE 21 (the EF being a recent acquisition) and I'm planning a comparision between both lens...

How about OM 21/3.5 ? I am surprised that it has not made the list yet.

My Oooomph lenses - OM 16/3.5 FE, 21/3.5, 35-80/2.8
