This is just a fun thread to list lenses that can form a stellar trinity to cover multi photography scenarios. This idea came to mind when one of the threads mentioned Zeiss ZE 100/2, 35/1.4 and 21/2.8 are 3 of the best Zeiss lenses. So what other 3 lenses combo are good enough to be listed as such?

Either 24, 50 and 105 or 35, 85 and 135.

For the first trinity on fullframe:

Leica elmarit 24/2.8, sigmalux 50/1.4 and nikkor 105/2.5 (alternatively zeiss 100/2)

The the second trinity on fullframe:

Nikon 35/1.4G (alternatively zeiss 35/1.4), Nikkor 85/1.4 af-d (alternatively rokinon 85/1.4) and nikkor 135/3.5

The first trinity on nex (1.5 crop):

Sony 16/2.8, CV 35/1.2 and Leica 75/2.5 summarit.

Second trinity on nex:

Zeiss 24/1.8, Hexxar 60/1.2 and contax 90/2.8

You are the first person I know that has all the 3 Canon normal zoom lenses. Interesting trinity.

Canon 35mm f/1.4L

Let's see, how about a trinity of warm, cool, and wide?

Zuiko 80mm f4 macro, Zuiko 135 f4.5 macro, Olympus bellows (I know, not a lens, but...) for warmth

Zeiss 100 f4 Sonnar, Zeiss 200 f3.5 Tele Tessar, Leica 100 f4 macro on Leica bellows (can't use this lens without the bellows) for cool

Zuiko 18 f3.5, Zuiko 24 f2.8, Zuiko 28 f3.5 for wide

I like seeing those three Canon zooms! I nearly added the 24-70, as it is one of my all-time favorite lenses.

If by Holy Trinity we mean superlative IQ that never lets us down, and a focal range to cover the bulk of our photo interests, here are mine for full frame:

Canon 24/3.5 TS-E II
Leica R 60/2.8 Macro (nearly the Canon 50/2.5 macro for its AF)
Canon 100/.2.8L IS Macro
