Bobby - beautiful photos of your cats. You might enjoy checking out Mad Man Chan's website - he dotes on his cats too, and has some great photos.

Ariel, your second photo with your cat reaching for the doorknob reminds me of large tiger I had as a child who would reach up with his paws on either side of a round doorknob and open the door. Other cats could pull a latch down, but he was something else.

Looks just like my Gertrude who passed several years ago. She was part angora and shed like you wouldn't believe, until I learned she liked being vacuumed with the hose from a "Dustbuster". It cut way back on the shedding, and my couch wasn't orange after a few days.

Okay, I'll indulge myself and join in.

1. This is Pussycat. She was a shelter cat and was chosen by my dog from all of the cats in the shelter to come to live with us. This shot was the first shot I ever took with my 135/2 on the day I got it and was looking for a subject on which to test the lens.

2. Another shot of Pussycat. She did learn quickly that the top of the stove is not a good place to rest if there is a fire burning in it.

3. This is Charlie. Charlie was an stray who weighed 18 pounds and who won his way into the house with his ultra friendly, cool dude personality.

In Loving Memory...Affectionately named "Baby Girl" by me and my family, others in the neighborhood called her "Tinkerbell"...She was my new lens test subject, and left our living world just before my 70-200 f/2.8L IS II could capture her spirit...These were with my formerly owned 28-80 f/2.8L...
Amazing lens, She did it justice...
