Nice shot given the harsh sunlight. I like the depth of field and how, with the backlight, you have captured the wisps of hair. Perhaps he is sad because his mama told him she was taking him to the barber.

Haha, I've seen that look and it's definitely a type of sadness. I have learned to not make that face when my wife hands out the to-do lists. It just doesn't help
