With three kids, sitting around the campfire isn't always peaceful or tranquil for me yet, but they will all move out some day and the wife and I can look forward to making our own scene such as this. Good idea and execution of it Barbara, good luck!
I was there once too. If you wait until after they go to bed that's when your peace and tranquility will start. I was usually too exhausted so my tranquility was sleep

Pete, yes wine can sometimes slip down one's throat, but that's never happened to me
Bill, I agree it's a great way to relax and end the day. I really went camping just to capture this shot. Need to add fire ring to list of things I need
