These are restored pieces from a 1920's carousel. Wonder how many repetitions they have had over their lifespan?

I like the horse's head being the centre of attention rather than the child and what a great pose. I can imagine Mary Poppins being in front.

I love seeing restored carousels. Nice pic and good choice of shutter speed.

Thanks Pete. I'm glad you liked the horse being the focus. I had some shots of the rider looking and smiling but I did want the horse and the many repetitions to be the focus.

Thank you Barbara. This shot was quite out of my element but I liked the feel of the finished product.

There's a lot of things I like about this one. For some reason, the little bit of motion on the girls hair really makes it for me. There are a lot of elements that just come together to create a great photo.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the nice words. Just as I was shooting she whipped her hair around, so that was a little lucky.
