Edit: I wasn't all that happy with the IQ of my first post, so I'm going with this one, shot on the same day, just below where I was standing for the original post! This one shows some other repetitions as well!
To be honest, at first, I didn't see the relevance to the challenge, but the sun comes up every morning and the tides rolls back and forth, so yes, there is repetition and I like the image. It's a shame that there is something on the beach, just in the rays of the sun.

Thanks Pete. I had to think about the definition of the theme and whether or not repeating patterns and repetition were one and the same. I suppose they are, but to me, repetition is something that happens over and over and over, etc....
As for the tire tracks in the sand, I suppose I could clone them out....Thanks!
As you know, Greg, I liked your first image, it was serene, but this one has so much movement and depth. I won't be surprised if this does really well.
I liked your first shot but this new one fits much better with the WA IMHO, nice shot. I like the lighting and the repetition of the pier and the waves.
