In school we defined it this way..."The 2nd law [snip]...is the tendency of matter and energy to deteriorate to a most random state."
It is a weird take, but I tried to capture randomness, by capturing potential coffee bean positions. (hence the ghost like beans). During the eight second exposure - I poured the coffee beans onto the mirror like surface of a ferroplate, and manually tripped one of my studio flashes many times to freeze ethereal beans. The sharp beans didn't move.
