I publish the Lens Price Database, Lens$db: http://tinyurl.com/jcolwell-lensdb.

Here's the abstract for the current version (v16).

The Lens Price Database, Lens$db, has prices and physical specifications for over 400 lenses, including: all Canon EF prime lenses and EF Extenders; all Canon EF L-series zoom lenses, plus a few others; a large selection of “alternative” manual focus lenses from Carl Zeiss, Leica, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Voigtlander, and other brands; a variety of lenses from Sigma, Tamron and Tokina; and, a selection of Medium Format Mamiya 645 lenses that are more-or-less compatible with EOS cameras, and with the Mirex Tilt-Shift adapter. Thanks, that lot of work been done. Don't you think FM buy/sell would be better place to track prices than ebay?

You're welcome, Leonid. I buy and sell a lot on eBay, where I have 509 feedback, 100% positive (well, 1 was neutral). That's what I know, so that's where I do it. FM would be a great place to track as well. I suspect it's not a lot different, as eBay seems to be a great equalizer.

Yes if I didn't absolutely need my 200mm with IS, I would seriously consider selling my 70-200 right now. Unfortunately the 200mm f/2.8 prime does not have IS.

I have over 1000 unique positive feedback. I've been a mesmerized since 99. I had someone leave me 4 negative feedbacks, because I mistakenly shipped his items parcel post instead of priority mail. The items got there in 4 days...so no big deal right? Wrong!

He freaked and I refunded all of his moneys including purchase price. (Cheap DVDs and CDs) I asked eBay to look into it. They told me pretty much to eat shit (guy got products, and all money back) and I stsill got burned.

Fast forward to me buying a guitar, and getting completely effed right in the a. I had PayPal and the credit card company side with me...I left the guy a negative, somehow he got of erased...

I think the eBay feedback system is complete b/s now.
