p.1 #1 · What is the Base ISO for the A7rII?

We looked at half a dozen posts found on Google and some said its ISO 100, and others say its ISO 800 that is a big
discrepancy. Maybe both can be thought of as base because of low noise, but I want to get the most dynamic range if I have enough light to use ISO 100. Why does there appear to be some people saying its 100 and others saying base ISO is 800?

It has two. Best IQ is at ISO100 and 2nd ISO640.

I did not know this, thanks for the info. I would have automatically thought 200 is better than 640.

200 is about the same but when going up the scale it is better to use 640 instead of 400. 640 is very nice for photographing skeletons in candlelight
