See this from another site. Great addition if you're looking for wireless flash at low cost. It's claimed to be compatible with Canon RT system. So, you can mix and match Canon ones if you already have some with these:

Yep and I was just about to spring for the YN-622 and maybe a couple of their guns

Will be interesting to see if they do an RT type receiver that allows then RT flashes to work on the RT system .

Edit:

Ok I should have read further to the bottom of the page

YN-622 TX com mining as well .

I wonder how these companies get away with so blatantly copying products like this. They even have the same name as the Canon...

Point taken. Not sure where the line is drawn. My guess is, unless it's a trademark, Canon doesn't own the name 600EX-RT and the body style.

This sorta reminds me of knockoff golf clubs by Chinese manufacturers. They ain't counterfeits and so I see they sell them with no problem.

All that said, I've never owned a Yongnuo and don't plan to own one. I've only used it through a friend of mine. The one that I used felt quite plasticky though. But I gotta admit that the ST-E3-RT equivalence that has AF assist got my attention a little bit though.

Does it mean 600EX-RT equals 568 ex II plus 622c , if yes, why do you really need this new flash

Reverse-engineering is allowed in the USA, so the product is legal provided they didn't steal trade secrets or violate any patents.

Right, but the design is nigh identical... AND it has the same name. If this isn't an open and shut case for copyright infringement, I don't know what is.
