Pros: good image quality, good price, friendly menu's. lightweight. ISO800 is not bad. 2.5" screen. dust cleaner on the sensor.
Cons:
only one roll control, the ergonomic isn't the best-I use a grip. made of plastical matrials (good, but plastic). there isn't a data screen.

very good "entry level" DSLR.
the contol, even there is only one roll control, is very comfortable and easy.
the price is very reasonable, and you get a great camera.

Pros: not bad preformance. also the bulid quality is good. it's has a very nice macro to such a lens (1:2.3). pretty cheap.
Cons:
soft in the borders.

well. i think it's could be a good choice for many of the beginers.
Because it's chaep, has nice range, pretty good optical.
the focos isn't bad but not as good as USM/HSM.
the great thing in this lens that it provied not bad aprutre+basic macro+good range-anything to the beginnig.
and all this in good price.
it's isn't has 2.8 all the range like tameron 17-50 or sigma 18-50, it's isn't as sharp as nikom 18-135 or canon 17-85 (that extremely sharp in the middle) but it's a very good lens to stat with.

Pros: lightweight (relative), cheap (relative). fast, bulid quality and great preformance
Cons:
none.

really a great lens!
the bulid quality is perfect, and it's a very fast lens.
it's cheap relative to it's preforamnce, and also lightweight, again, it's relative. (750g).
I think that is one of the lenses that shows the highest value of money in the market.

Pros: very sharp, small and lightweight. Great colors, and very chaep. 1.8 of course.
Cons:
The bulid quality is terrible. The focus isn't fast so much and also not very quiet.

Great lens!
very good performance.
Extremely sharp, specialy for it's proce...
Very good for portraits and to take photos in low light.
So small and lightweight that it's doesn't metter the place it's takes in the bag... And when you'll need it, is'll do a great job.

except that that it's made of 100% plastic, and the fact that the focus isn't as fast and quaite as USM, I have nothing bad to say abput it. Even after the "crop factor" it's range is comfortable, and I also find out that it nice to shoot flowers with her-because of the small depth of view that remind macro lenses, and the good sharpness.
So, all I can say that in this proce, there isn't a reason that you wont have this lens...
