Works as advertised, can produce excellent results with a good lens, ok at higher ISO, good entry-level product.

Cheap feeling, battery grip too expensive (but recommended), interface not very user friendly.

I bought this DSLR, my first, a bit over a year ago. Before that, I had been occasionally shooting 35mm and medium format, including darkroom processing (b&w).
With a good lens (probably not the kit lens) and proper handling, this camera can produce excellent results.
I agree, the viewfinder is tiny and dim, low light AF might be better, 3 fps is a bit slow, and weather sealing is non-existent - but that’s o.k. at this price level for me.
