Upgraded to my 1Ds from a Rebel XSi. Being as I am normally an Aviation Shooter, I needed something with a better AF system but also desired a full frame sensor so it ruled out the 5D. Picked my 1Ds up with about 30,000 clicks on it and I have been impressed with the quality of images.
It's a tank that keeps on going! If I upgrade, it's going to have to be another 1-series... but it would be tough for me to sell this one as others have mentioned, it's got something "special" about it.
