Happy at the price sure not a L lens but at this price who cares. Granted no usm but its quick enough for most shots some say the loss of 10 up the top end of this zoom is an issue but I say use your feet! This lens feels and makes the balance on my 30D feel right.
Image quality on my copy is sharp and even at 2.8 it produces good images I feel that this is a under rated lens by the photographic community. Yes I would like an L at this range but I cant afford it so I bought what I could afford
