Focus is fast and silent, good color and contrast, tack sharp. sharp enough for any purpose of photography. Mighty 4-stop hybrid IS, every useful for portrait and macro works. Build feels solid and light material. Price is just about right.

For $1000, you can't buy any better lens than this guy here. Great value, instantly fall in love with the picture this lens can render. I have never seen any bokeh like this and the sharpness of the image. Just simply amazing, beats all my other L.

Very Fast + very sharp, AF is accurate. Compact size, fits well on my 5D2. Very useful focal length

The most useful prime I have. I couple 35L and 135L, the really work wonders. Light weight set up and not compromising any IQ. Tack sharp and fast. I sold my 24L after getting this lens, IMO this is a much more useful lense in many situations.

This is the sharpest lens that I own, even sharper than 70-200/4L IS at 200mm. The background blur is very desirable @ 200mm 2.8. Solid build and lightweight, very reasonablly priced.
Super super sharp image even wide open.
