Great Lens, Fast to focus and never had a problem. I have used it in snow during Winter X-Games on my Elan and worked great. Used it at Rodeos and not a problem.
I have the Sigma 2x converter and you do lose some sharpness, but nothing to be worried about. I recommend this less to anyone.

I love this lens. It is just fun to use this lens on both my DRebel and Elan 7. Yes it does feel cheap, but it is cheap. It is great if you are learning about photography.
