My copy is 5 years old now. From the purchase date, this has been my most used lens. First on a 20d, now it lives on a 5D2. I don't think image quality gets much better than this. I'm a serious amateur, but I have professional friends that are equally impressed with the EF 24-70. This is a great lens.
chaengnosce,
Last month, the Canon elves at Utsunomiya produced an optical masterpiece, and now you have it. coz that's life

My first non-L Series Canon lens. This is not the consumer lens that will remind you why you spent all that money on premium glass. Sans the red ring, the only difference is the smaller size, weight, and price.
