Pros:

Sharp, it is true what they say about L glass. This is my first and I should have joined the pro glass club sooner.

Cons:
|
So many people say the weight is a con, but with the battery pack and a good size flash it feels balanced.

It is true... you get what you pay for. Any self respecting professional should get with professional glass. Have been shooting wedding and portraits for 5 years and will never turn back to inferior glass. If you don't have the money, go in debt!

Pros:

Sharp, IS works well, good walk around lens for the money.

|
Cons:
|
A little light fall off. Zoom loose after heavy use.

I believe you have to look for a good copy. Love the range on the 1.6 crop. Very seldom do I have to switch out lenses for a wedding, except of course wide angle and low light.
