Canon Rebel T2i DSLR

Canon_EOS_Rebel_T2i_01
Review Date: Jul 9, 2010 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $799.99 | Rating: 8

Pros: Gorgeous LCD display, sharper than my 7D, HD video,
Cons:
A bit to small, more noise than my 7D, No micro AF adjustment

For a cropped sensor the image quality is good but not great.
The 7D has better IQ because the 7D has less noise and better color saturation.
The T2i seems to produce sharper pictures and videos, but in moderate to low light situations the 7D does a better job.
Noise seems to start coming in at ISO 200 in some condition but at ISO 400 you notice it, it's not that bad unless you have to crop the pic,
It's a great camera if your on a budget.
I bought this to back up my 7D but ended up selling it because the IQ difference was just to big for me , this was especially noticeable while shooting weddings inside churches.

Review Date: Oct 28, 2009 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $1,699.99 | Rating: 10

Pros: Fast, AF, Weather Sealing, digital Level, 100% viewfinder, ISO performance, IQ, 720P @ 60fps, 1080P @24 and 30fps, Build Quality,
Cons:
NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Better high ISO performance than my Buddy's Nikon D300s, the 7D crushes it !!
My buddy though maybe something was wrong with his camera, so I did a google search and found this review

http://www.photographybay.com/2009/10/27/canon-7d-vs-nikon-d300s-iso-test/

Same results that we got, The 7D just beats the D300s

High ISO performance is on par with the old full frame 5D, WOW!!!!

I'm in love with this camera and my Sigma 24-70mm IF EX DG HSM

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Review Date: Jan 25, 2009 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $89.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: Cheap, Light, very sharp starting at 2.2, does not have USM but it's has a very fast and accurate Af on a 50D body, IQ
Cons:
Focus ring is to small

Very fast and accurate focusing on my 50D, it hunts sometimes on my 40D but the AF is still fast most of the time.

AF is not as Noisy as some people are claiming, yeah sure we can hear it but some of the people act as if you would be disturbing an entire wedding if you were to use it and that defiantly not the case. In a small quiet room yeah someone else that's near by will hear it but not at any small event or gathering.

Canon EOS 50D

Review Date: Jan 24, 2009 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $1,079.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: IQ, AF, Build quality, Low light performance, good value, lens micro adjustment, High Res LCD, More detailed images than 40D, LiveView, anti-dust system, highlight tone priority, auto ISO,
Cons:
No HD video, No built-in wireless flash system, Massive RAW files

I almost didn't but this because everyone kept saying the pics that came out of this camera were not sharp. I come to find out that they must have been talking about at the pixel level because when I played with this camera at the camera store it blew me away !!!
After talking to the guy at the store I found out that the Raw files are not the same as the 30D or the 40D, They were telling me people were using CS3 to convert the files over, Well the problem with that is that don't come out as nice as they could have. they told me to convert using DPP NOT CS3, and they showed me the difference.

When I got home I also found out that the 50D picks up much more detail than my 40D ever could and when I resized the pic to match the size of my 40D, Well... all I can says is WOW !!!!!!!!!!! I so glade I bought this.
