Great range. Quality built, faster to focus than I believe it would be, and sharper than I had believed. Came with a very nice carrying case and support for the tripod.

It is a tripod lens for me anyway.

I had been reading many reviews about this lens and finally decide that I would try it. The lens autofocused quickly and I was pleased. I was suprised with the sharpness of the entire range. It seems it is a little softer at the 500mm end but very acceptable.
