Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye

ef15mmf_28_1_
Review Date: Apr 11, 2012 Recommend? yes | Price paid: Not Indicated | Rating: 9

Pros: small minimum focus distance, sharp, relatively fast to focus
Cons:
could be built a little sturdier. kinda spendy for what you get.

having used the canon, nikon and sigma variations of the non zooming fisheye i'd say this is the best of the bunch. really shape and the small minimum focusing distance allows you to really milk the fisheye effect for all it's worth.

Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM

Review Date: Apr 11, 2012 Recommend? yes | Price paid: Not Indicated | Rating: 10

Pros: unbelievably sharp, inexpensive for what you get, light
Cons:
none

best canon prime made and it can be had for a song on the used market. a bread and butter lens for wedding photography - once i invested in this lens i never again brought the heavy 70-200 2.8 to a wedding job again. 135 is long enough to shoot ceremonies with but also light enough to carry in a belt bag all day long.

Review Date: Apr 11, 2012 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $450.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: sharp sharp sharp
Cons:
none

loved this lens, used it primarily for underwater macro images. i originally had a tamron macro but i bought this because it was far more quick to focus in lower light situations. very necessary for my underwater photography!
