Light, well made, has a zoom lock. Excellent sharpness, contrast and colour. Remarkably light, small and cheap compared to it's main rival the 24-70L. Comparable optical performance for one third the cost.

No full time manual focussing.

I've been delighted with the performance of this lens. It stays on my camera 90% of the time. Perfect walk around city lens.
