Weather sealing would have been nice and also the extra 4 mm on the wide angle, however that would mean shelling out at least 1000$ for a used lens or 1100+ for a new one. My copy is tack sharp and only 3 years old, so its relatively new, and being an L hoping it will last long enough. Plus this lens has a reputation of having very good Quality control , unlike its successor.
