Pros:
small lense that does magical things in low light
Cons:
In an age when many like wider angle, this might not suffice.

Excellent lense that should be a part of anyone's bag. It can bail you out in low light, or work as a primary lense. Everyone needs a f/1.4 lense and for the price this can't be beat. Probably the most versatile of the fastest Nikkor Primes in terms of money and performance. Trust me I own all the f/1.4's and the 135mm f/2

Pros:

perfect fit on on my D70s, F100, and when I had the F5.

Cons:
absolutely none

Just a wonderful lense that gives you a little extra speed. Weight is not really an issue. Some may say get the F/1.8, and there is reason to consider one. However, if you are an available light nut, shoot weddings, and basketball this lense is worth every penny. I have no regrets. It's a tossup between this and the 135 f/2 as to which is my favorite lense.

You just can't beat this lense for what it does. Stunning results and I'm enjoying the soft focus feature as well. I would definatly spend the money again. Perfect for portraits, basketball, and weddings.
