Canon EOS 1D Mark II N

Review Date: Apr 28, 2006 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $3,699.00 | Rating: 9

Pros: AF speed, body construction, LCD.
Cons:
very very very slight banding

what more can be said? this camera is a huge step up from my 20d. great AF and very solidly built.

when testing for banding, i was getting a very slight banding at over H(3200)iso with exposure compensation dropped down to the lowest. and it was only in the shadow areas. i rarely shoot under those conditions. it is so slight that it's not worth replacing for fear that i might get an even worse body.

otherwise, the camera is perfect for any type of work.

Canon Deluxe Backpack 200 EG

Review Date: Aug 7, 2005 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $44.95 | Rating: 10

Pros: price, size, durability
Cons:
slight zipper trapping

first of all, let me start off by saying that this wonderful bag is able to carry a TON of gear. i've noticed people posting that they packed 4-5 lenses in here. i packed all 7 of my lenses, a canon 20d with bg-e2 grip, all 7 lens hoods, a speedlite 580ex, extra batteries, brushes, straps, card readers etc..

this is a great bag for the price. i was considering a lowepro backpack but the retail was twice the price of this canon bag.

here's a couple of pictures of the arrangement:
