Pros: ISO, High Megapixel count, Frame Rate, definition, Built like a tank! Button Layout is very user friendly. Custom Settings. Superb photo quality, excellent gradient. AF Points.
Cons:
No Dual Card system, Having issues with Video even though i'll never use it! HD Vid takes up a TON of space. Shutter is a little loud. AF POints do not cover the outer areas of the frame.

This is my first review. I am a semi professional looking to go pro. Going from an xt rebel to a 7D I've been completely blown away by the 7D's stability and performance. So far I have less than 100 clicks but what I've seen so far this camera has proven to me it is definitly worth the money. I have read that a high megapixel count on a crop sensor is a bad thing but the 7D does a good job at keeping a smooth gradient and not pixelating at that high of a count. I have a friend with a 5D mkii and my photos look very close in quality now to his camera without breaking my bank. If you are considering the 5D it is an awesome camera and it is full frame but coming from a crop sensor XT I wasn't heart broken with not having that option. For the money this camera does exactly what I need it to do. The Different raw image sizes you can choose are helpful Large medium and small. Comes in handy for events where you know that you aren't going to be printing anything huge but still want the control over what size the files will be and have Raw editing capability. For Landscape i find that the L series lenses are where it is at on this camera. Being that the sensor is so darn good the flaws on cheaper glass will be a lot more evident. Inside of the frame the aF points are amazingly helpful. For Portrait and event you will rarely throw any photos away due to out of focus shots with the right lens. The focus is fast and immediate on the L series. My average lenses will still hunt in low light but the high iso you can still see some noise but nothing noise ninja cant handle. at 1600 ISO shots are still useable which is part of the reason why I bought this camera. All in all a very happy camper and thanks to Fred Miranda for this review site, I look at it almost on a weekly basis for updates. I wanted to help any others out there with this review like they have helped me!
