Sharp side to side.HSM.CA good controlled. I didn't see flare even at strait sun light not more then my other lenses. hood and case. build Qty. fast AF. distortion is well controlled even at sides.

I have had this lens for tow weekes and tested it indoor with test chart and outdoor lanscape. without hood I didnt notice flare as others said. It's a fantastic lens and I love it.
