The best kitl lens arround. Zoom range. CA control
|
|
Cons:
|
Slow in the dark.

Comparing 18-105 with 18-135 the main difference is CA control. The d90 kit controls those sunset killer CA very well. One of the best walkarround lens.

I came to d90 from canon 40d... I am still looking for AF speed.. But,this camera is beyond my exeptations. I cant leave it at home.. Always with me. cause it is small genius of photgraphy with his IQ and escellent image quality. Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 and d90 is a great combo of street photography.

I use this lens with my d90. It confuses sometimes in AF but output jpegs are superb, contrasty and sharp. For this price you get and f2.8 lens and you should accept it with gratitude.

Pros:

good colours, handy, light and mobile

Pictures taken at 400 and above ISO's goes directly to the recycle bin. no exposure meter on the upper LCD...

I tried two copies of D80. Both are beautiful. Colours are wild but in the vivid modes you cant get true skintones. After getting Nikon d90, i nver look back to the days i was with the d80. I reccomend d90 in the same class. D80 was a good camera but now we have nikon d90 with th great ISO performance.
