As others have said, it would be even better if it was lighter, but at this price point and product quality it is one great tripod.

Using it with the 488RC2 ballhead - Fantastic setup and extremely sturdy. May get tiredsome if carried around for too long. Should get some leg protectors/padding though as those legs sure do get ice cold when carried around in chilly weather (heavy and cold = no fun)
