This lens is one of my favorite portrait and midrange sporting lenses. It's comparable to having a 200 f/1.8 on a FF body when using a crop camera, such as my 30D. The details this lens can resolve never fails to amaze me. It was my first L purchase and has forever set "L Fever" in me.
This lens is worth every cent; absolutely no regrets. It should be in everyone's bag!
