Pros:

Great noiseless performance up to and including ISO 1600. Quick and accurate autofocus. Rear wheel makes it easy to quickly scroll through options and adjust settings. Built much stronger than the old 300D.

Cons:
|
It's not full frame

Upgraded from a 300D, I literally have at least double the keeper shots on any given day. Focus seems to be much more accurate and faster to boot. This camera body has been a massive upgrade from the 300D.

Purchased this lens a few weeks ago with high hopes, and thankfully it came through for me. Great telephoto lens for the photographer who cannot afford the expensive f/2.8's out there. Built in hood works very well, once extended, rotate it to lock and there are no issues at all!
Lighter than a 70-200 f/2.8L, but still not exactly 'walk around weight'.
This is my first L and IS lens, and it has made me a firm believer in both!
