I got this lens a couple of months ago to replace my
28-80 USM V kit lens that I got with my Rebel G years ago.
Wow. Way sharper, and just great for low-light/indoors.
It also tought me to use the foot zoom.
The focus is slower and noisier than my old kit lens, but
for what I'm currently doing, it's fine.
Did I mention it's cheap?

I just got it a couple of weeks ago, but this lens is just awesome. f/4 is slow and have already encountered some
limitations, but not enough to reconsider going for the Sigma 2.8 (weight) or the Canon 2.8 (price and weight) just yet.
