Pros: A great lens for a very reasonable price.
Cons:
I wouldn't know.

The reviews claim this lens produces 97 % of the quality of the Leica R apo-macro 100 2.8 As far as I can tell, they are right. The optical quality is excellent and the build feels really solid.AF is fast and reasonably silent. Recommended!

The picture over the review is of an older version. The current one looks far better.

Pros: Build quality, good optics, nice price
Cons:
??

It will take front-filters on the D10 if you leave the sleeve on. Vignetting is minimal, and in keeping with the fisheye character of the lens. When you de-fish, it will disappear totally, of course. The lens is very sharp, good contrast and a joy to handle. I've never used the Canon equivalent, but it is hard to see what the extra $$$ would add. I never had the problems that jkantor had on my D10.

Pros: Good quality for a reasonable price
Cons:
Not all versions work on all camera's Canon glass is superior (but far more expensive)

As mentioned before, the older version won't work on a D10, giving error 99 in one shot focus mode. I found, however, that it will function on the D300. The camera doesn't recognize the 1.4 tc, but this doesn't affect exposure.
All in all it is a nice lens to have handy for those shots you wouldn't get otherwise. The results do benifit from post-processing, especially contrast enhancement.
