Pros:
very fast, razor sharp; VR is superb
Cons:
expensive, but worth every cent!
....it took me some time to make the final decision to spend quite a big sum for this lens. After I got it, I argued with myself for not having made the purchase earlier.....
The lens is rather big, however, it is still very easy to handle. VR is superb! I would recommend it to friend without any hesitation.

veeeery powerful flash; fast recycle time; good battery life; nice set of accessories supplied; wireless works like a charm!!

Cons:
expensive, however, it's worth every cent; the written manual could be improved.

Pros:
nice zoom range
Cons:
soooooft, build quality, loud and slow autofocus
I bought this lens because of the zoom range but I was really disappointed because it is so soft (and believe me, I did a lot of 'experiments'). Build quality is not what I expected from Sigma, autofocus is loud and slow.
A real disappointment!

Pros:
very fast, silent autofocus, sharp, light, price, price...
Cons:
If I have to think of a negative point, I'd say, I don't like the odd 67mm filters....
This lens replaced a Sigma 24-135, which has a nice range, but it was way too soft and the build quality was not that good at all.
For me the AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 24-85 is the ideal 'walk-around' lens.
So far I didn't have any dust related problems - I hope it stays that way....
