Pros: Fast 2.8, IS, color and contrast, extremely sharp - this lens has really proved its worth for portraits, 77mm filter size
Cons:
Weight - but after seeing the results it's worth it.

Pros: price, performance, great colors and contrast, small size, and very sharp. Great portrait and low light lens.
Cons:
no lens hood included and the canon lens hood can be hard to find
