Compact, great zoom range for the size of the lens. Light enough to lug around even when hicking. IS is works wonders in low light.

The lens does creap out when around the neck, plastic build

I traded in my 28105 lens and bought this lens used. It has worked for me well.
Its zoom range is good for many situations.
I would reccomend it to anyone who is on a moderate budget.
