Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM

Pros: IS, build quality and sharpness
Cons:
Only the price, but still worth it.

I had the older model at first and that is still a great lens. But because a lot of my photo's are typical macro's I really liked the IS and the fact that it's weather sealed.

The image quality of this lens is amazing, great sharpness and beautiful bokeh and the colors are faithful.

Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/2

Pros: Great IQ, very sharp, build quality
Cons:
No auto focus

I was looking for a 50mm on my Canon EOS 7D so that was a 35mm with the crop factor. After reading lots of reviews I looked at this lens. A great site that helped a lot was http://diglloyd.com/prem/prot/ZF/publish/35Distagon.html His review and samples made me take a look at Zeiss. After testing it in the camerastore I was sold.

Pros: Great IQ, very robust, weather sealing, great range
Cons:
Heavy, no f/2.8

The IQ is very great, I really like this lens. This is a great walk around lens which I have on my camera most of the time.

I only wished it was f/2.8 but then it would be much heavier.
