Just back from a trip to Grand Canyon, this was my most used lens, from sunset/sunrise, to full daylight.
Frankly, a little surprised to find the "boring" normal focal length ~50mm (35*1,6 on a 20D) to be the most appropriate lens for this landscape, and often chose this prime over 10-22 and 24-105 (good copy).
Came back with 500+ images, more than half shot with this lens, very happy with the results.

There seems to be som variation in quality of this lens. I had the 1st (flare) generation, and returned it, mainly because I found it soft. My new copy is very sharp.
