Pros:

Fast recycle, accurate exposure, wireless works very well indoors with new Canon 7D, powerful, weatherproof foot well connected to one of Canon's newer 1D series/7D bodies

Cons:

Price, large (and slightly larger then 580EX I)

Had this gun just over 2 weeks and I am very impressed with it. Worth upgrading to from any other Canon flashgun except perhaps the original 580ex where the gains are minimal. I do miss the dedicated slave/master switch, but pressing the zoom button for 2 seconds to activate slave isn't that bad.

Much better than the Canon 70-200 F4 L I tried. Latest model is extremely well made, with an easily removeable tripod collar (clever design). Fast, quiet autofocus, but not quite silent focusing like my 24-70 F2.8 USM lens. Good contrast and colour. I highly recommend this lens unless an IS lens is important to you (at about 2-3 times the cost). Sigma have improved considerably since I bought one of their lenses a few years ago.
