I purchased this lens two years ago and still enjoy the product as much as I did on day one. I would highly recommend this lens to anyone looking for a "normal' prime on a APS-C sensor. The lens is mounted on my camera 50% of the time, due to this the hood does not screw on as easily as it used to, also when I aim the camera toward the floor the focus motor can "squeek" on occasion. This lens has a 4 year warranty, so after the holiday season I think I will send it on for service to address these issues.
Would I go out and buy it again? An easy Yes..
