I have spent the last few years using a 350D so going 1 step bigger was a logical and overdue option. I got what I awaited and will not be going back.
Overall it's just great to have a bigger body and especially a bigger display.
What bugs me is the hyped ISO which supposedly goes up to 12800. I never have. The results from 3200 are so bad I would only use these as worst case. Anything above simply scares me. The 1600 is just OK but details suffer quite a bit.
Sorry canon but for once less pixels would definitly have been better.
Overall I would buy it again but only just. Pity I haven't got the budget (or wife) to allow myself a 5D MKII
