If I had to pick one lens to travel with, this would be it. Very versatile for my needs. Very sharp. Love the IS, can take hand-held shots down to 1/8th with no problem. Highly recommended

I have had the 5D with grip for four months now. It is an awesome camera. I use it for weddings and pretty much everything else. I love the full frame and high ISO quality. If you have any doubt's about this camera, remove them. Its not a 1 series, its not weather sealed and built like a tank. If you desire those features, it will cost you an extra $4,000.00 to get the 1DSMII. With Canon's $300.00 rebate in effect and the price of the 5D dropping, you can have one for $2,600.00 now. I might buy another.
