I was using a 70-200mm f2.8 non-is for youth basketball. And many parents know some of the gyms kids play in have very poor lighting. Even at 3200 iso with my lens I was still having some issues. So I decided to pick up this little gem. I love it. It focuses very fast with my 1D MkIII and I am not having any issues with the lighting. I was not ready to pay $1,700 for the Canon 85mm 1.2L so this was my next option. You will not be disappointment with this lens. Also its nice to loose a little weight compared to the 70-200.
