I owed already the G9, 400D, 450D and the 40D...
The 50D is a very nice Cam, it has a i missed on the 40D.
The LCD screen is perfect to check the photos you made. the 15 megapixel are nice but not necessary... but the real step up is the ISO and the noise reduction....I can recommend the 50D
