I have only used it with my 5D and I am very impressed. No complicated manual setups needed, just turn it on and go. Metering is very good. In some more difficult situations you need to dial in a bit of +/- FEV, but overall the flash exposures are very good. White balance is usually spot-on using AWB, as the camera compensates WB using information from the flash.
