Overall I love the 40D. There are things I wish Canon made better, but I feel I got a great camera for the price. The AF speed and accuracy are great as well as the frame rate. The only thing I am not a fan of is the noise (especially in the shadows) from ISO 400 and higher. After 800 it is not usable to me. All in all I don't think I will be upgrading to the new 50D because I am still happy with the 40D's performance.
