Took myself and the 500 to Yellowstone a couple of weeks ago and managed to obtain a lot of keepers of elk and buffalo, along with some great landscape and birds. I was very pleased with the 500.
Last weekend I did a stint at a high school football game in the rain. I managed to get some nice photos but the 500 is almost too powerful for that kind of shooting. A 400 would have been perfect in that venue.
