Speed, "picture" quality, massive body, good switch from analog SLR

loud of mirror, little LCD, battery grip rear door material, not 100% on viewfinder

I had a Nikon N90s anaolg slr before, and waiting for a long time a similar dslr. Nikon d70 is a disappointment (speed, body material, no battery grip etc.), and I'm change CANON technology, and it was a good decision! USM is fantastic! Of course, 20d is not perfect, BUT I can live that compromises.
