This is my money maker lens. It was also great in Africa and the Caribbean for lots of wildlife shots.
Save your money and get this one. It is so worth it.
Everything you hear about it is true.

An amazing lense. I have been reading and researching this lense for the past year. I finally went out and bought it. So glad I did. I live in the Caribbean and the pictures I am getting on my DSLR are out of this world. The red’s are nothing I have ever seen before. It’s worth the money, no question. MY next purchase will be the 70-200 L IS and then I think I am done. I think hehe.
